This is a photograph of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I believe it was taken from one of the Darling Harbour ferries. At the bottom left of the photo you can see part of the ferry railing which is painted in the Sydney Ferries green and cream colour scheme of the time as opposed to the Parramatta fast catamaran colours. One of the highlights of my holiday was riding on the Sydney ferries. We purchased a week pass that allowed us to use all Sydney City public transport including Sydney ferries, Sydney public buses and Sydney trains.
I enjoyed going to Darling harbour for a ride on the ferry. You could catch buses or walk from Sydney central however I enjoyed catching a ferry from Circular Quay. Another magnificent ferry ride was travelling up the Parramatta River on a fast catamaran. This ride is not to be missed if your into a nautical experience and great scenery. Yet another awesome ride is that from Circular Quay to Manly on the Manly Ferries. Sydney's main ferry terminal is situated at Circular Quay which is a large public transport hub. It has a ferry terminal, train station and bus station.
